米ドル建てステーブルコイン「リップルUSD（RLUSD）」の流通額が25億980万ドル（約3,961億円）となり、準備資産は26億3,380万ドル（約4,157億円）となった。リップル（Ripple）の公式開示ページで、10月1日時点のデータとして公表された。

リップルのステーブルコイン部門シニア・バイス・プレジデントを務めるジャック・マクドナルド（Jack McDonald）氏は9月30日、Xの投稿で、RLUSDの時価総額が約24億ドル（約3,788億円）に達したと説明した。また同氏は、RLUSDの日次平均アクティビティも年初から3倍超になったと述べた。

なお、暗号資産（仮想通貨）データサイトのコインゲッコー（CoinGecko）によると、10月5日9時10分の記事執筆時点でRLUSDの時価総額は約25億360万ドル（約3,951億円）となっている。

RLUSDは、リップル傘下のスタンダード・カストディ・アンド・トラスト・カンパニー（Standard Custody and Trust Company）などの規制対象事業体が発行・流通を担うステーブルコインだ。国際送金や資金管理など、金融機関・企業向けの用途を念頭に設計されている。RLUSDは2024年12月17日に提供開始され、当初からXRPレジャーとイーサリアム（Ethereum）上でネイティブに発行されている。

またRLUSDは、相互運用プロトコルのワームホール（Wormhole）が提供するネイティブトークントランスファー（Native Token Transfers：NTT）標準を通じてマルチチェーン展開されている。現在は、ベース（Base）、インク（Ink）、オプティミズム（Optimism）、ユニチェーン（Unichain）、XRPレジャーEVMサイドチェーン（XRP Ledger EVM Sidechain）でも利用可能となっている。
